I forgot to mention this as well... When we went in June, Rob warned us that the wood covering the far end was a bit weak, but still covered the hole totally. This time, as Mr Harv says, the wood had rotted through, leaving a bit of a hole...

He did say it was gonna be fixed at some stage, but I think there was an issue mentioned with regards the fixing of an ancient monument or somesuch... All seemed to make sense at the time, although brain leakage prevents me from remembering anything at all ever! Sorry...

I didn't get any spooks here, either, and I'm a reet nancy! There was a beautiful young fluffy black cat that accompanied us for our entire visit. We were kinda hoping it would attempt to follow us in, stop at the entrance and bristle and hiss! But no - he was quite happy to come with us. Bah!
