I have recently been sent a photo of a standing stone that has been re-erected somewhere in Cork. This stone was broken in two a long time ago and the bottom 3.5m tall 'stump' fell in 1985. It has recently been put back together again and is well over 6m tall.

It could now be the tallest stone in Ireland. Now all I have to do is find out where in Cork (the largest county in Ireland) the stone is!
