| Aye up Paul... good to see you've found your way to this lively corner of the web! Found your thoughts on the Backstone Circle interesting... pretty much what I thought when I visited the spot last year. Maybe fairly recent stones erected on an older site. That area of the moor was certainly the centre of much activity during the megalithic period. never did manage to find the fallen stone at Gill Head... the bracken was still quite high when I was there last.
