I was up there yesterday in the snow and rain and wind. What a cracking area. I did find however that at the northern end, by the quarry, there were several sites looking like Black coppice, and a really cracking possible cairn burial 100 yards to the east of it. There was a large grass covered cairn at one end and and a robbed boat shape hole with a couple of very large slabs in it. I wish I had a digicam.
Have Rivington Pike and anyone else who has been up there noticed this?
