I feel really bad now, as I have just received a REALLY nice email from the people that put on the "Land of Arthur exhibition... Maybe I was a little harsh - anyone else been there? I should really, really like to point out that it was just my opinion - "not my cup of tea" sort of thing... But I should have just appreciated the effort, maybe? Maybe.
Maybe I've mellowed in me old age, but maybe it's better to give *something* for the charge (I understand the public liability cost thing) rather than just stand by the gate collecting money... at least they made the effort... I feel like I'm making it sound like I've been threatened if I don't say all this! I haven't, I assure you... seems like a very nice chap - that's why I'm writing this.
He also says: "I would like to point out that you are welcome to visit our site at any time between the end of October and Easter when you will find that access is completely free for local people and those with a specialist interest."
Also: "PS Our charges are remaining at £ 2.50 adults, £ 1.50 children/ OAP's and concessions with an additional 20% discount for National Trust/ English Heritage Members. There is no public footpath."
So I apologise most publicly.
There.

PS - I might change my mind again tomorrow. We'll see what joys the evening brings... ;o)
