I live really near to the site and the CC footpath man is great he has been out knocking on doors asking if we need access etc, dont blame the people in the house they may not be farmers I believe it is a renter. As for CADW I have never ever had an appropriate response from them when reporting a difficulty at a site, they seem to take the side of landowners at every opportunity in fact I recieved a cutting and harsh e mail from them after I reported serious damage at another local site, they said I was upsetting the farmer!!

Poor wee Farmer!

Good on you Kammer... I've seen farmers slowly isolate then destroy sites like this in the past. It looks like the remains of the Bradup Stone Circle on Rombalds Moor had gone under the plough over the last few years.

Sorry, I was a bit slow off the mark there. Glad to find someone else who knows of this site. Have you visited it?

I didn't realise there was anyone from Pembrokeshire on the Forum. I live further north in Ceredigion, but it's a bit lonely out here as far as TMA'ers go. Are you megalithicly inclined, or just passing through (so to speak).

I was extremely underwelmed by Cadw. They seem very reluctant to make an effort of any kind. They don't seem to want any of the hastle of scheduling things either. There are some great sites round our way that are completely unprotected.
