Oh yes! I was a regular at Sourlies back then and at A Chuil in Glen Dessarry. I once got trapped for 4 days at Sourlies when torrential rain raised the level of the River Carnach so that it was uncrossable (and unreachable) at Carnoch. My OH ventured that one time and never again! I always loved the stomp up the hairpin path up to Mam Meadail and the trek out to Inverie and the Old Forge. Great days.
