Astralcat, HS2 is being pushed through by the government regardless of the countryside/wildlife that will be destroyed and homes lost. I still don't get why we, as a society, are so addicted to speed. Sadly in the face of so much that doesn't stack up, a sense of powerlessness is setting in :(
