| A CAMRA Good Beer Guide entry, this is an 18th century pub with two cracking real fires, for which it's won awards. The original home of the Tirril Brewery in 1999, but this has now moved to Brougham Hall, nearby. The Tirril beers are all on sale. There is a beer and sausage festival every year on one weekend in August. |
