Not only a pub but also a campsite.
has become my stopping off spot after a hard day on Bodmin Moor. Very central, just off the A30 and cheaper than Jamaica Inn....and without the coach partys!
The main bar is a small snugg type place while there is a large restaurant type area which tends to attract the families.
I have not eaten so can't comment on the food.
Next door is Colliford lake Park which is a bit of a theme park with rides and animals etc..but has a good cafe and puts on world/folk music evenings in the summer.
10 mins drive to Dozmary Pool and "my henge" at Letter Moor. |
