An excellent place to stop whilst passing through Avalon. Situated about 3 minutes walk from the High Street, there 2 standard rooms, and 1 family, all reasonably priced. The house is spacious, clean and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent, for both meat-eaters and vegetarian.
This being Glastonbury, there is a strong spiritual/healing/therapeutic side to this B&B (Koko, your host, is a practising therapist), but unlike some of the other B&B's in the town, it isn't the predominant feature. It's there (a well stocked library and drums etc are available), but it isn't a condition of stay.
Excellent - we would stay there again, without a moment of hesitation. |
