London Stone (Standing Stone / Menhir)

The London Stone can be seen much better now from inside the building. The former bank is now a sports shop and you can go in and see the stone very well lit, but behind glass.

Castle Down (Chambered Cairn)

There are numerous cairn graves on Castle Down, but among them are well defined entrance or chamber tombs.

Works Cairn (Entrance Grave)

This one is a real beauty, but not easy to reach.. It is set in a commanding position overlooking the cannle between Bryher and Samson. From below, it can be reached from the coast path, but the brambles and bracken are fierce. The best approach is by climbing Samson Hill and then it can be sen from above.
