Small field for camping, definitely no fires allowed. The toilets are a muddy walk away, as is the water supply, and the pub is even further. £2.50 per night per person, the facilities are rubbish but it is well sited for lots of good stuff to see. 29th March 2004ce

Tolson Museum (Museum, Huddersfield)

Mon-Fri 11am-5pm, Sat & Sun 12-5pm. Access for disabled visitors is limited as the best stuff is on the first floor.

Good exhibits from the mesolithic to present. Good history of Castle Hill and other key areas in Kirklees. Many bronze age axes.

Live in and run a pub called the Rat & Ratchet in Huddersfield. Come and see me and we can talk about all sorts of stuff from Stone Circles to Heritage Action.
