Mynydd y Gelli (Stone Circle) — Fieldnotes

A number of people have reported trouble in finding and getting to the site.
I have made a google map to the site which comes in from the back way via Clydach Vale. This avoids any interaction with the tip or the farm and is a nice walk in my opinion
The map can be found here

Twmbarlwm (Hillfort) — Folklore

I live near Twmbarlwm and I'd read about the "fairies as bees" stories in Chris Barbers Mysterious Wales book.
My next door neighbour is a middle aged bloke who has spent most of his life walking the mountains round here. We were having a chat one day about Twmbarlwm and unprompted he told me that he had seen thousands of wasps and bees "fighting" on the ground on one of his trips ther. I metioned the "fairies as bees" story but he was not aware of it.

Tarren Deusant (Carving) — Fieldnotes

If you don't know exactly where to look this site can be hard to find. It's on private land but the farmer but the farmer was quite willing for us to go photograph the site. It still seems to be use from the amount of candle wax on the rocks below the stone and the remnants of tealights :o(.
The rocks surrounding the main stone are covered in carvings most of which are quite hard to discern. Some of it does seem to be graffitti though.
