A wonderful article published in 1862 written by that all round good egg J .Y. Simpson, M.D., F.R.S.E. Knight of the Royal Order of St. Olaf of Norway, Lately Vice-President of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, Member of the Arch├Žological Societies of Athens, Nassau, Copenhagen, etc. Honorary Professor of Antiquities to the Royal Scottish Academy, and Professor of Medicine and Midwifery in the University of Edinburgh.
