Visited 25th May 2004: Tan-y-Coed is a large ploughed down barrow just to the south of Henriw Standing Stone. It's easier to spot than the stone because it's not obscured by field boundaries. Kammer Posted by Kammer

The NMR (available through Coflein) describes Tan-y-Coed:
A much ploughed-down barrow, 23m in diameter and 1.0m high, from which 'a few small pieces of bone' were removed 'at some time before 1870'.
