Roughtor Slopes Cairn - 1.4.2003

Again, in the absence of any name I know of I’ve given it this name. It's a small but interesting cairn not far from the Roughtor car park. Although it’s not that big, and has been seriously hollowed and eroded by livestock, it's interesting because it has a stone at its peak leaning close to the floor. The stone measures 175cm x 50 x 55. It has quite a strong groove in its top and near its head and looks very phallic to me!
