We visited St.Katherine's Well today, the 6th October 2002. A small spring bubbles up into a tiny pool, yet a slightly curved stone wall remains behind, set into the hill. It's not on an official path, so you have to have a reasonable map to find it, but it lies directly below the Bredon Hill Tower (Folly), on the corner edge of a wood.
Mindful of the folklore that this well has healing properties, we splashed some water on my husband's tennis elbow and we will wait for results!
