Dun Kingsburgh South stands just 300 metres north of the end of the metalled road at Kingsburgh, on a grassy mound to the left of a well-constructed stone dyke. Little remains now of this broch: just a grassy saucer atop the mound with the grass-covered hump of its foundation course visible around much of its perimeter. A few blocks emerge from the grass like irregularly spaced dentures.
