02/09/2012 - We came from White Cairn to the north but this could make a nice short walk from Tarfside, with a visit to the monument on Hill of Rowan (great view) on the way back. Hill of Rowan has hut circles and field systems. Hill of Milton cairn is a good one. Heather has been burnt back recently which makes the cairn easier to see. Well worth a visit. Great cist and capstone. thelonious Posted by thelonious
