To the east of Errwood and Fernilee reservoirs a small road leads over to Bollington and Rainow, when the forest ends park in the carpark on the left and go through the gate on to the footpath. The stone can be seen from here, a short walk up the hill. The stone leans a lot to the west (I think) and is maybe three and a half feet tall. postman Posted by postman
