You can almost feel the people here (I mean the original ones, not the tourists). The houses are so well preserved and the little details - hearths, water channels, etc - bring you that bit closer to this as a dwelling place. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Yeah, loved this place. Is the fogou still out of bounds?

Sadly, yes. The roof has partially collapsed and the passage has been blocked (with soil, looks like). The entrance is barred as well. Shame really, but it wasn't really a match for the one at Carn Euny, which surprisingly remains the only other one we've ever got round to visiting.
