Cairn Coinneachan (Cairn(s)) by GLADMAN Looking from the cairn toward the glen holding the Barvick Burn. Note how the monument is set back from the escarpment edge in a manner I've seen at a number of excavated Welsh upland sites. Lovers of mountain landscapes will want to leave some time to take in the excellent scenery provided by the Blue Craigs to approx north-east - incidentally the source of the aforementioned burn, or so it would appear form the map.
