My sacred sites pages. I have details of my work and my new book all about West Kennet Long Barrow. Enjoy!

Hi. I have been working on West Kennet long barrow for years, and have discovered many new aspects of the wonderful site, including symbolism, astronomy and acoutics. I hope my new book on the site, West Kennet Long Barrow: Landscape, Shamans and the Cosmos, out on MArch 1, will let me share with everyone this site which I have made a soul connection with; I scattered my father's ashes here.
See my website for details of funky talks and walks to the site this year: www.stoneseeker.net

This sounds interesting! I have - as I'm sure do most of us! - Ancient Stones of Dorset, which is an invaluable guide for the Dorset stone hunter. A great guide, beautifully written, researched and presented, even though it goes into aspects of "Earth energies" that I'm, personally, not convinced by (doesn't make it any less interesting tho! :) )

This book sounds to be along similar lines (there may be a pun there. If there was, it was unintentional! :D ) - by which I mean there will be something for everyone! From those of us who see faces in things and/or believe in leylines, to those of us that love a bit of archaeological research and tangible proof.

Basically, I like Peter's approach and passion for a subject, and his openness to all aspects of the subject matter. It'll be an interesting read, without a doubt. Whether it's 100% my bag or not. ;)

Well said goffik!
Loving your work Pete. If it's half as good as Ancient Stones of Dorset it will be well worth a read.
