Stone Circle

Wet Withens (Stone Circle) by Blingo_von_Trumpenst Wet Withens in October looking towarrds Higger Tor (in background).
3 axes placed (very gently) onto the "chair" stone.
Orange Danish 4-sided polished point butted flint axe (approx 4700BC).
Grey Danish flaked Valby type thick butted flint axe (approx 2200BC).
Dark brown Danish Single Grave period Glob type battle axe with retracted shafthole and concave surfaces (approx 2400BC).
All 3 are beauties and sourced from Victorian collections so no stealing of anyone's heritage.
A superb spot to contemplate life. Enjoy.
