Aran Fawddwy (Round Cairn) by thesweetcheat The forbidding peaks of the Aran range, seen from Moel Gyw in the Clwydian Hills, some 25 miles or so to the NE. Aran Fawddwy is the highest peak, on the left.

And die on arrival. We managed 15 miles of Offa's Dyke path on Saturday, that was plenty.

Yes, it looks well worth the trip. G/F might be demanding a funicular railway if she comes though. Nuttalls suggest starting at Cwm Cywarch to the south and then go up via Drysgol (mind you, theirs is an 11.5 mile route with 7 summits, might be a bit hardcore frankly). thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
