It's rather a stunner of a pic. It is the two little children which clinch it for me. I visited the Black Cave a few times in the 80's and 90's and cannot find my 35mm photos. Until I lay my paws on them and scan them, this old postcard will just have to do. Howburn Digger Posted by Howburn Digger

That's really nice. I rather like that the photographer didn't get the riffraff to move out of shot, which they might have done, but instead got a pose from them. Can you see Ailsa Craig from the cave? it's mentioned in the story so I'm hoping so. Rhiannon Posted by Rhiannon
