Downpatrick Head

Promontory Fort

Downpatrick Head (Promontory Fort) by GLADMAN Dun Briste, apparently the 'broken' section of the promontory fort, featuring some summit structures. I say 'apparently' because - believe it or not - I didn't actually go and have a look....

You've let me down. You've let TMA down. And most of all you've let yourself down. Now get back out there and do your job properly. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Sorry, it's been cut by the government. I can offer you a very large elastic band and a Y-shaped tree trunk, if that would help get you across. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Or perhaps that white stuff is bird poo? In which case you could wait until two birds fly near and then quickly grab their legs.

That is an amazing slice of rock though isn't it, all neat and stripey.
