Wise decision. Choose the wrong departure from this ridge in poor visibility and you can be seriously out on a limb... I see you went up Moel Wnion... Nice. Visited Drosgol and the Beras a while back, but didn't quite have the legs for that.

Incidentally I'm looking to get back to Drosgol in the next year or so... weather depending. Ha! I'm assuming you'll get there first, though, since there are two ranges I will not arse around with the weather on.... Carneddau and Rhinogydd!

What route are you considering for Dafydd? Might be able to help?
