Yes fwiw I did discover it . I prefer the " new found from a couple days ago " . How can you tell it was uncovered before from the pics ? It has never been recorded before ,the pic showing it covered was taken after I had uncovered it and subsequently recovered . If it is left for a couple of years , maximum ,I doubt you would notice the recent uncovering , therefore it may well have been uncovered at some point up to two years ago ago but if so it was never recorded and there is no evidence for it .

The way the turf looks in the first pic mr T, but if the first pic is one of the last you took, having recovered it then i'm barking up the wrong tree.

Moss sussed it . Taking pics of covered stones with no apparent rock art on the exposed bits , (although there is one wee cup visible ) really is x ray eyes stuff . Come to think of it even without my specs (non-x ray) I can see the "cuts " on the dull first duff pic . tiompan Posted by tiompan
