Lovely shot as usual Chris. This is one of my favourite sites. Can't help wondering (as I did when there a few years ago) if the pair of rounded mountain tops in the distance was an important focal point for the circle builders. Posted by AngieLake

Yes, and of course you took the shot over the stone in the foreground to highlight that it looks vaguely similar to the mountains? Snow on the mountains echoes the lichens on the stone.... moss Posted by moss

That was entirely my intention moss, thanks for noticing, errrm yes.
We used to go on loads of coach trips around N.Wales when aaah were a lad, and the driver would always point out the sleeping beauty above Conwy as we went through Deganwy, it took more than a decade to finally see what he meant. I feel certain there was a big interest in motherly shapes round these parts.
