Ken, I've seen the Haroldstown dolmen described as one of the most attractive in Ireland. This must be one of the best images of it - I love the reflected blue on the snow; very peaceful.
Really fantastic. This is my favourite site and that photo has just confirmed that for me. I would love to see it in the snow...alas that is not to be at the moment!
Wow, wasn't expecting such nice comments, thanks all :) This portal tomb is near Tullow which was one of the very worst affected areas in the 'snow crisis' but the scenery is just stunning, worth the slippery drive!
I wish I had a car that I felt even remotely secure about driving in the snow. I am itching to get out there and take some snowy pictures. Great photo Ken.
Think I should start a thread called 'megalithic martyrs' just in case you or Postman end up being found frozen clutching a stone somewhere in the wilds of Ireland or Wales. It is a stunner though ;)
