I love that photo, as it shows the grimness of the conditions under which us keen TMA-ers operate at times, and illustrates how much our interest drives us. I can feel the water seeping into my boots as I type. I love the bleak sites, me.
Not all sites are as manicured as the likes of Avebury and Stonehenge, nor as lucky with the weather.

Hey DB - just noticed the comments on the pics (10months later!)

No path up Duin hill. Very steep sides - maybe less so on the NW edge. God knows where the entrance would have been.

Eternal - this is one of the most remote and desolate sights I've visited - and you hit the nail on the head - thats one of the attractions!!
