Robin Hood's Stride (Rocky Outcrop) by Arcturus This is on the way up to Robin hood's stride i am unsure whether or not this was once a megalith that has later been used as a gate of some sort?

There's some strange gate posts in that area, take a look at the two @
SK 22556296 - ish, one's stupidly tall for a gate post with a angular top and it's partner has a flat top, they almost look like they once made up a very tall and rather slim stone that was unevenly chopped in two. !

Yeah there are loads of stones taken in olde days and used everywhere in buildings and churches or farmers have used them for one thing or another. Posted by Arcturus
