Fieldnotes
| This is worth the walk from the Beacon car park as you get away from the crowds at the top of the hill. Most people seem to be put off by the fence, although it has a stile, and don't cross the final few yards to the Barrow. Sit for a while and you might see a herd of deer in the field below or just listen to the birds. Lovely. |
