| By the way you'd better believe the folklore: Stukeley said "this story the country people for some miles round are very fond of, and take it very ill if anyone doubts of it: nay, they are in danger of being stoned for their unbelief." I suspect quite a few people have got stoned at the Rollrights, but that's another story. |
