Canmore says there is a ring cairn at the Woods Of Delgaty, I have vague recollections of this as a child. My father worked at Delgaty Castle, as I did, as a dry stane dyker. Someone else mentioned that there was a circle with 5/6 stones in it quite near the ring which I couldn't find, but they hadn't been there for thirty years or so. Can't find anything in the OS maps. Considering this must be less than a mile from my house, it's a tad annoying. Maybe Canmore have maps, but they don't mention a second circle. There is a barrow on the other Delgaty road, that might be there, but that will be easily found. Wondered if you knew anything since you stay in these parts.
