To the east of Pontrhydfendigaid is Ystradmeurig the hillfort is just north of the latter, but seeing as both places are unpronouncable and deep in last century Wales, miles even from the nearest B road, any directions are just a piss take, get a map ! After reaching the top of the hill just walk along the wide ridge till you come upon the fortified entrance this is more or less all thats left, except the natural barrier of steep sided cliffs and they'll be there forever. Not as well preserved as Pen y bannau and the topography flattens out going off to the coast, but well worth the walk, some good fungi too.
