Gelli Hill (Stone Circle) by postman I found these stones on the way back, they look very much to me like another ruined circle

I think this is the circle itself, the stones in the picture being the surviving western arc. The fences are all different on the ground to how they're shown on the OS map, although they are shown on the Coflein map if you zoom in. The other site (to the east) is something else, not shown on either Coflein or the OS map. Very odd - I'd like to go here again with someone who knows more. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

I've now checked the latest largest survey scale (1:2500 survey) OS for the area. This picture is indeed of Gelli Hill circle, the fences are shown on the large scale map - they don't appear on the current Explorer (1:25000) though.

The "circle" shown in Postie's other pics lies to the east and is not shown as anything at all on any OS editions or on Coflein. Perhaps it's a modern addition, perhaps it's not been recorded?
