Pillsbury Hills Castle

Pillsbury hills castle is a Norman non stone walled castle/fort/settlement, best approached from the south-east. Rght next to the earthworks is this tall leaning stone it does have a hole through it so could have been used in modern times, but the stone isn't part of a wall nor does it look like it ever did. Not on the map or TMP. Anyone know owt about it? postman Posted by postman
