| There is also a nearby round barrow. Text from: http://www.coflein.gov.uk/pls/portal/coflein.w_details?inumlink=6063030 Located on a NW-facing slope in a recreational green area within a housing estate is a turf-covered, circular stony mound measuring 12m in diameter and 1m high on the NW, 0.3m on the SE. Excavations revealed the presence of a stone kerb, traces of which can occasionally be seen around the edge of the mound. |
