Knockfennel Cairn(s) View all content for Knockfennel

Climbing knockfennel is a great way to get a feel for knockadoon and the whole lough gur/ grange lios complex. You can make out the far bank where the main stone circle is but it is obscured by the trees. The cairn on top is unusual it has a depression in the middle of it a bit like the top of a volcano.
