Robbed Howe

Barrow / Cairn Cemetery

Robbed Howe (Barrow / Cairn Cemetery) by fitzcoraldo This prominent stone is probably part of the original kerb of the barrow. The is a cup-like depression on the face of the stone, there is also another on the boundary stone. These are probably bullet holes. These moors were used extensivley as military training grounds during WWII.
