| Mentioned in "The Romance of the Stones" as a possible menhir it was erected in 1980 when the road was being improved. Not easily missed! it sits beside the road not far from Chun Quoit. Is it or isn't it? was it or wasn't it? Does it matter....how do we know every other stone is original, many of the stone circles in Cornwall were reerected in the late 1800's early 1900's and not allways using the original stones. |
