Chambered Cairn
Tomb of the Eagles (Chambered Cairn) by OapostropheBrien Close by the Tomb this site of a hut has been excavated. Charlie and his wife may well have lived here. The pit is for cooking. It was probably filled with water and heated by placing very hot rocks from a fire into the pit in order to boil food placed in the water.
