Nempnett Thrubwell (Long Barrow) by jonath Co-incidentally - I visited the site about the time of the other two posts so here's an image. The site is worth a visit, plenty of evidence of dry stone walling as at Stoney Littleton - also the tree cover and location make it aesthetically pleasing! Throw in a visit to the mendips or Stanton Drew and you have a perfect day ouy! The barrow is located on farmland about 200 meteres from the nearest road- access is easy but as ever- being private land seek permission of the landowner.
