these earthworks are modern, i live near this church and went to have a look at the stone circle remnants , i happened to bump into the vicar in the church yard as he took a break from doing vicary stuff and spoke to him about the churches neolithic history.he acknowledged that the church was built inside a stone circle. but he told me that the mound was constructed about 1976 to support an extension of the church built around this time!
