Caer Bran

Hillfort

Caer Bran (Hillfort) by thesweetcheat On the south side of the fort. The dark hill in the middle distance is Sancreed Beacon, with Castle-an-Dinas on the skyline behind. Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount can be seen over on the right.

Beautiful pics as usual tsc. Have you managed to get to Castle - an - Dinas? We tried, traipsing round & round a girt quarry & blocked off by private land signs. We probably should have endeavoured but got tired after a day of walking. The walk such as it was was nice enough, but got a bit frustrated ultimately.
Also, isn't Sancreed lovely.

Thank you, you're very kind. Haven't been to Castle-an-Dinas for years now, probably 7 or 8. Probably easier to approach from the other side (Nancledra) from memory. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
