I was really taken with this circle when tjj posted photos a few weeks back. This just confirms once again it's a must see. The stones look so interesting. thelonious Posted by thelonious

It grabbed me far more than I expected, despite the relatively uninteresting setting. We ended up staying here for an hour and put off going to Trethevy (again). I was fascinated by the variations in the quartz. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

The colours of quartz does look good. Your camera has picked them out nicely in the sunshine.

I love your snail photo as well. It looks like it's found a safe place to rest. I like the idea of the stones being a haven.

Lovely photo, captures the interesting stones that form this circle. Rather like yourself I found this circle captivating, every single stone was of interest and they demanded time to explore them fully. Nearly didn't go, however, as others have said very pleased I made the short detour. Posted by costaexpress
