That triangular lintel is superb isn't it? I've read there are a couple of brochs in Sutherland which also have the same feature.

Thanks for that, E D. I had no idea this kind of work had been done. We were based in Ratagan for a week and I remember the first time scrambling up from Totaig and seeing the lintel, face-to-face. It was a clear indication that I wanted to spend time there, examining the surviving features and taking in the tremendous setting. Posted by tomatoman
